Three more days until Parker turns one.....

It does seem that after looking at old pictures of Parker that he grew up overnight. There are pictures of him as a little baby and pictures of him as a "big boy". This picture was taken on our first Stroller Skating trip in January.....it was rainy and cold outside but we had to get out of the house because we were getting cabin fever. I wasn't sure we would like it but we did. And believe it or not, Parker did fall asleep while skating. I wonder if he would like it now that he is older and faces the opposite direction in his stroller.....

This picture was taken on Christmas Eve. Parker was a wee little baby at 3 months old. My smile should not fool you.....we were still having a tough time with getting adjusted BUT we had recently changed to soy formula which helped out a lot! Looking at this picture makes me miss that itty bitty baby.....

Five days until Parker turns one....

Parker looks so different now vs. when he was 5 months old. I think he is getting taller and SOME of his baby fat is going away. Rest assured though, he still has those chubby cheeks.

NOTE: Parker did stand in the middle of the room by himself today...YAY!

Six days until Parker turns one....

I love this picture of my boys watching TV. Parker LOVES his Daddy! I wanted to share this picture because it made me think about when Parker was 6 months old....he use to sleep in his carseat, in our bed. While I loved Parker being so close to us, it has been nice for all of us that he is in his own room. So much has changed in such a short time!

Indian Food Experience

Recently we went to eat Indian food with Paula/Ian and Libby/Brendan....it was a first for me (and Parker). It was very good but next time I would like to know exactly what I am eating.

Here is Ian....he is very cute and doesn't know exactly what he was missing (since he didn't eat any Indian food)!

Zach Turns One!

Several weeks ago we went to wish Zach a Happy First Birthday at a party at his house. His Mom, Dad and extended family were so very nice and we all had fun visiting. We haven't known Zach very long but he and his Momma are sure fun to be around! Here are a few pictures I took:

Seven days until Parker turns one......

At seven months (as pictured above), Parker was trying to crawl and beginning to pull up. These days he is walking AND running everywhere. We are still working on standing up (on his own) but he shows no desire for that right now. I guess he is ok crawling to the nearest "thing" to pull himself up on so he can walk/run where he needs to go.

I thought I would share 7 random things that you may not know about Parker and our family:

*I have NEVER cut Parker's nails....either the neighbor does it or Uncle Henry does when he comes for a visit.
*Parker does NOT like being in his carseat.
*Parker always gives hugs after his naps.
*Bryan and Parker watch the Today Show every morning while Parker drinks his milk.
*Parker still needs his pacifier at night while sleeping.
*When Parker feeds Millie & Lizzie, he eats a few pieces himself.
*Parker is VERY independent, no matter where we are.
