First Playdate of the Year (& Decade)!

We are finally back in the swing of things. Bryan has gone back to work, we are back on our nap schedule and today was our first event of the year. Rachel and Avery had us over for lunch and some play time. Everyone brought their favorite Christmas gift and all of the kids had fun playing with some new toys. Parker took his Elmo backpack, one because he doesn't go anywhere without it and two, because it was the easiest thing to carry.

Parker was sporting his new t-shirt Santa brought him, which all the Mommies loved:

And Caroline not only knows how to sport a cowgirl outfit, she also knows how to drink tea like a cowgirl (and stand like one too):

This new year has brought us a sweet new friend....Charlee and her Mom Emily:

After lunch, it was time to go upstairs to playroom #2:



No, Parker is not in time-out....there are 4 steps that go up to a guest bedroom from the playroom and Parker was practicing his stair climbing skills:

This playhouse was a hit with the kids.....there is a door on each side of the house and the kids were going in circles and giggling....it was pretty cute to watch:

Parker says..."I am secure with the fact that I am cooking in a pink kitchen if steaks this big come from pink refrigerators!"
